On-line applications are invited for the following posts in Intelligence Bureau (Ministry of Home Affairs), Government of India to be filled through direct recruitment from amongst the candidates fulfilling the eligibility conditions as indicate below...
The numbers of vacancies are provisional and liable to change. The posts are temporary but likely to continue indefinitely.
Age:
i. Between 18-27 years as on closing date of application for all post. Upper age limit is relaxable by five years for SC/ST and by three years for OBC candidates.
ii. For JIO-II/WT, the upper age limit is relaxable for Departmental candidates up to 40 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government.
iii. Similarly, for JIO-II/EDP, the upper age limits is relaxable for Government servants up to 35 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government.
iv. However, for Personal Assistant (PA) the upper age limit is relaxable for Government Servants up to 5 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government.
v. The age limit is also relaxable for Ex-Serviceman as well as residents of J&K in terms of government instructions issued from time to time.

Note: The age will be calculated on the basis of date of birth of the candidate mentioned in the Certificate of Matriculation examination issued by a recognised board. The candidates are therefore directed to fill in the same date of birth in the application form, as recorded in his/her Matriculation Certificates.
Service Liabilities: The post involves All India Transfer Liability. Therefore, the candidates selected are liable to serve anywhere in India.
